Catches walleyes, perch, jumbo panfish, bass and trout. Floats live bait over moss, weeds and rocky bottom areas. Tip with a leech, minnow or nightcrawler. A 24- to 48-inch leader between Gum-Drop® Floater and sinker is typically sufficient. However, a 12- to 24-inch leader is better in stained water, while 60 to 84 inches may be necessary in clear water.

    I can't get enough of these gum drop floaters. I use them for walleye, saugeye, white bass, smallmouth bass and even catfish! Fortunately they are reasonably priced and I can keep bringing the heat to the fish.

    These are getting harder and harder to find. They have been a key component of my go to walleye rig for over 15 years. I have used the same rig to catch panfish as well as an occasional Northern and Muskie. These are great jigs and hope they become standard in tackle stores again soon.

    I have been using the gum drop for over 25 years, It is my go when fishing my home water's. One place that i love this bait and is one of the toughest lake's i have ever fished Petenwell in Wisconsin . dragging the gum drop over and through the submerged trees can be the ticket when fish are tight to cover.
