Deadly on perch, crappies, sunfish and trout. Fish plain or tip with a small minnow, leech, worm, segmented grub or waxworm. Cast, vertically jig, drift or slow-troll. To keep jig at or above the level of the fish, and prevent it from falling to bottom or into cover, suspend below a small bobber or casting bubble.     This is my go to jig. This jig can and will put fish in the boat when nothing else will.
    My 1/8 oz jigs are almost gone and I can't find any. It will be a sad day when the last one gets hammered and is gone by a northern pike. That is how I have lost almost all of them while straight line jig fishing for walleye. Predator fish of all kinds hammer this jig.

    Truly, the best, most effective lure I have ever used. Nothing else comes close. I have caught a lake record Bluegill (and my personal best, 1lb, 10oz) on the Gypsi jig. Not to mention my best Crappie (15"), my best Walleye (7lb, 1oz), and my best White Bass (16")... all on a 1/64oz Gypsi. Additionally, I have caught catfish up to 5lbs and nice largemouth and smallmouth as well. Each year this one lure accounts for literally thousands of fish for me (especially Bluegills and Crappies). It simply produces the best results most of the time. If I can't catch them on a Gypsi, I probably won't catch much. I would put it up against any other panfish lure on the market. It also consistently outfishes live bait. It can be fished effectively stationary or casting - open water or ice fishing. It just works. If I had only one lure to fish the rest of my life, it would be a Gypsi jig.

    I have used these jigs for years. However, after my last purchase it may be my last. When comparing the new jigs with my old ones it is very clear how they have been cheapened. The skirt around the hook is almost none existent.
