• Superior for vertical jigging, casting, drifting or dragging

Catches crappies, perch, walleyes, bass, pike and stripers. Works great alone or tipped with a small nose-hooked minnow, nestled in the middle of the hair. Fish with a slow lift-and-drop, lift-and-drop motion to maximize the hair dressing’s incredibly lifelike pulsating. Effective around weeds, rocks and in open water year-round, but exceptional for big fish in cool water.

Last June on Eagle Lake I had on the largest Muskie ever on my line. I was using a 1/4 oz silver shad Buck-a-roo hair jig fishing for walleye. In the past I've have caught a few in the 20# range, but this one was in the range of 30-35#. Of course I was using 8# mono and he rolled and broke me off, but I did get a good look at him. Caught a bunch walleye as well. Love those hair jigs Bought a dozen more. Going back this June for our annual trip.
