Northland Fishing Tackle’s Tungsten Jig gives anglers a step up on traditional round ball lead jigs. Molded from Tungsten which is 30% more dense than lead, this jig has a faster fall rate and less drag in the water. This allows anglers to use a lighter tungsten jig than typically used when fishing a comparable sized lead jig. In addition, the hardness of tungsten increases sensitivity and allows anglers to feel exactly what's on the bottom. It features a premium hook and dual bait keepers that lock on soft plastics and live bait. The Tungsten Jig comes in 4 sizes 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 and 9 colors. They are available 2 per card.

    I bought these jigs after reviewing and researching the benefit of a tungsten jig. I am very pleased with the colours and the paint scheme on them. The head is really impressive with the bright Red eye popping out. However, I must say that the hooks on them are very weak. I bought multiple packs of the many colours given and most of the hooks break while setting the hook or straighten out. Losing fish while in a tournament is not an option for me. I really do appreciate the many northland products and will keep buying them, but until the hooks are changed on these jigs, I will not purchase them.

    These are next level for walleye jigging. Way more compact profile vs lead and sensitivity on bottom was exceptional. These cast so well and drop fast. The forward facing bait keeper design kept plastics locked on tight. Paint finish and eyes are super durable on premium sharp hooks. This is my new #1 favourite jig!

    All the benefits of tungsten combined with northland quality and great hooks. Got to early test these and was enamored.
