The Buck-Shot® Rattle Spoon is deadly in both hard and open water fishing for vertical jigging perch, walleye, trout, bass and pike. Jig aggressively in a lift-fall manner to call fish from a wide radius and make them strike. Tip with your favorite live baits like minnow heads and wax worms. The UV Buck-Shot® Spoon is finished with a highly-visible UV enhanced optically enhanced brightener visible to fish in the darkest of water. The ticking, thumping and clicking Buck-Shot® Rattle gets the attention of fish from a wide radius. The UV attraction combined with fish-attracting “feeding” sounds along with the Tiger Striped pattern results in a deadly mix that’s guaranteed to put fish on the ice.

  • Molded from metal and features a noisy brass Buck-Shot® rattle that lures fish in from a wide radius
  • It thumps, ticks, clicks and clatters and “rings-the-dinner bell” for Perch, Walleye, Bass, Trout and Pike
  • Incorporates a highly visible UV enhanced, optically brightened finish

Caught my largest walleye ice fishing, tipping the hook with a minnow head

I have been using the spoon in Lake Michigan for several years. I catch all species of fish with the spoon. I add small plastics to a downsized treble and find the smaller spoons equal to or superior to live bait for perch. Snap jigging is a great search method for most species of fish with this spoon. I vary the spoon size depending on the species and the depth.

Very effective tool for catching ice walleye. Perch patterns are realistic and action on the drop is deadly.

While most use this for ice fishing, I've had my best luck with it open water and casting it. Trout absolutely love it and it will outfish most of my other trout tackle nearly every time! Be sure to give it a try for open water if you have the chance.
