    The gold jig worked fabulous on two trips for walleyes. The finish remained good after hundreds of casts. The hook remained sharp and ended up catching 16 and only missing a half dozen.

    I use these jigs primarily in rivers for saugers and walleyes; and, believe it or not flatheads! I believe these jigs are more effective than jigs with long shank hooks. My stinger is a 1/0 hook slipped over the jig hook. Better percentage of hook-ups and way fewer snagged up stingers than when attached to the eyelet.

    This is a quality jig. The paint adheres well and does not chip off. When used with the Sting'r hook from Northland this is my most productive walleye jig. The Sting'r hook eyelet makes this jig unique and effective.

    I've been using Fireball Jigs for years and nothing works as good, for deep water or anywhere in between.
    New colors are fantastic.
