Boosts hooking percentages with light-biting walleyes, saugers and other gamefish by 30 to 50 percent or more. Rubber-coated “loop-end” easily slips over any hook. Hook one treble tine into the top of the bait. If you still miss fish, let the stinger swing freely. Best for jigging on clean bottoms. Not designed for dragging in moss, weeds, or other snaggy bottom areas.

    The 2" slip-on Stinger hooks are the perfect length for a 4 inch ringworm on a RZ jig. You do not miss a hit because the stinger finishes right in front of the tail. That is my go-to, early spring, rig on the river, when the water's still cold.

    I purchased some Northland Stinger hooks that slip on the hook because I was consistently losing half of my nightcrawler using a single hook spinner setup. On my first trip I initially had the same problem, so I put a Northland Stinger hook and immediately caught a couple of smallmouth bass followed by two walleyes. I never missed a bite after I put the stinger on!
