    I purchased the small red snaps to try out since they are usually more user friendly than "quick" snaps.
    Contrary to the previous reviews, I found them impossible to open without using a pliers which then bend the loop so that it could not be used. The metal seemed more like soft steel than hard nickle as stated. They seemed overpriced and poor quality not deserving of the Northland brand. Maybe they got a new supplier.
