Northland Fishing Tackle’s Tungsten Jig gives anglers a step up on traditional round ball lead jigs. Molded from Tungsten which is 30% more dense than lead, this jig has a faster fall rate and less drag in the water. This allows anglers to use a lighter tungsten jig than typically used when fishing a comparable sized lead jig. In addition, the hardness of tungsten increases sensitivity and allows anglers to feel exactly what's on the bottom. It features a premium hook and dual bait keepers that lock on soft plastics and live bait. The Tungsten Jig comes in 4 sizes 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 and 9 colors. They are available 2 per card.

    These jigs get an A+ for actually getting fish to bite. Colors are very good and I love the big red eye.
    Unfortunately there are two serious problems with the design of these jigs:
    1) the hooks are average to poor in quality.
    2) The shank on the 3/8oz jigs is to large in diameter causing most plastics to split open prematurely.

    Love this jig. It gives you much more feel on rocky bottoms than lead

    Much better hook sets, falls so much quicker, and love the hook gap...can feel the bottom so much better now at the rod
