  • Mimics a "young-of-the-year" minnow fry to perfection
  • Molded from soft plastic & sports a dolphin shaped GliderTailTM that darts, glides, jukes and jives like a fleeing minnow when jigged or dropped on a free-fall
  • Proven 143% more effective than the leading brand

Perfect for tripping the triggers of all panfish, including crappies, perch and sunfish. Deadly all year—through the ice and in open water. When jigging, experiment with subtle strokes and free-fall maneuvers to maximize the IMPULSE® Mini Smelt’s built-in darting, swimming and gliding action.

Why use live bait when these guys produce an alarming rate of fish and increase your time that your bait is in the water! Simply put, these work, match the hatch and hang on! many color options, makes it a great product and so diverse in its presentation. Sell your minnow buckets! this is all u need!

  • Best bait I have

Please PLEASE never stop making this. I use this on a 1/64oz jig for stream trout and they love it. In fact it's the only jig I've found that they will hit day in and day out. Further more shore fishing for panfish and bass this also kills. You can even use it under a float. So long as you make it, I'll buy it.

These things are awesome! I slayed the crappie with these and a 1/64 oz jig head. The smaller size and profile was the ticket compared to the comparable color of gulp alive. The fish wouldn't touch those, but hammered these!

  • Impulse not as effective as gulp

I tried the impulse bait with a friend and we both used impulse to start with. We had very limited success until we switched to same type of product in Gulp. Then we had a much greater catch ratio.
